Oracle Distributions

Provide L2/L3 support for Oracle Inventory, Shipping, and Receiving modules
- Troubleshoot day-to-day issues related to inventory movement, order shipping, and inter-org transfers
- Analyze recurring problems and implement long-term solutions
Work with business users to identify gaps in current distribution flows
- Configure setups for sub-inventories, locators, shipping networks, and item relationships
- Implement automation for receiving and putaway processes
Design functional specifications for custom RICEW objects
- Collaborate with technical teams on enhancements (alerts, interfaces, reports)
- Coordinate with integration and logistics teams for WMS/TMS alignment
Act as SME for Oracle Distribution and advise on best practices
- Evaluate new features in Oracle Cloud/Fusion related to Distribution
- Propose innovations like IoT for real-time inventory tracking, mobile-enabled warehouse solutions, and predictive inventory analytics
Analyze and document change requirements (MD050)
- Participate in unit, system, and UAT testing
- Coordinate deployments, validations, and hypercare post go-live
Ensure data accuracy and control over inventory transactions
- Enforce compliance with standard process flows (e.g., 3PL integration, batch/lot controls)
- Audit trail tracking and documentation management
Develop user training materials
- Conduct sessions on cycle count, RTVs, inter-org transfers, and shipping execution
- Guide junior consultants and onboard new support team members

6+ years of experience in Oracle Distribution (Inventory, Shipping, Receiving) in a support environment
Oracle EBS/Fusion Distribution modules
- SQL/PLSQL for data analysis
- Interface design with WMS/TMS systems
- Oracle APIs for inventory transactions
Deep understanding of supply chain and distribution flows
- Hands-on with setup, testing, and support for high-volume warehouses
Oracle Inventory/SCM certifications preferred
Proactive problem-solver
- Effective communicator with end users and cross-functional teams
- Agile mindset and ability to manage shifting priorities
Expertise in Oracle Inventory and related modules
- Functional understanding of SCM processes
- Familiar with inter-org and intra-org transfers
