Packaging Executive

- Overall Planning and Sourcing of packaging material and consumables required at the warehouse
- Finding right vendors to source the material with desired quality
- Working with category, marketing and operations team to design the right specifications of primary and secondary packaging material
- Strong negotiation with the vendors for getting the packaging material/ consumables at best purchase cost
- Coordinating with the vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Quality checking of every consignment at AQL level
- Training the warehouse team on how to pack the goods and what items goes in what packaging
- Maintain inward, in-transit and inventory data and payment data on packaging
- Maintain sufficient stock of Packaging material across the warehouses and plan the sourcing pipeline well in advance to avoid inventory Stock-outs
- Work with finance team for timely payment and monthly reconciliations of stock and payables
- Constantly work on enhancing the packaging experience
- Will have to visit warehouse four times a week to monitor ground operations in packing department to review adherence to SOPs and implement actions for continuous improvement

*Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years sourcing experience, preferably in Packing Material & Consumables
- Technical knowledge of Types of packaging, various specifications, quality standards, etc. is Highly Preferred
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
- Should have a good knowledge about Advanced Excel
- Should have good analytical/ planning abilities

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
