Modern Data Platform Solution Architect

As a Modern Data Platform Solution Architect, your responsibilities include:

- Work with multi-functional teams in a dynamic environment to design, develop, implement robust ETL pipelines for Enterprise DW
- Create modern data design which are reusable and scalable data pipelines.
- Take ownership of the delivery/development projects and help steer until completion.
- Elicit business requirements, including retention, granularity, and related factors by consulting with business partners and enterprise leadership
- Work on assigned tickets (incidents and service requests) related to data warehousing and data replication systems.
- Provide Level 3 support of data warehousing platforms.
- Proactively monitor the systems ensure availability of data.

**Your Team**

The role of Modern Data Platform Solution Architect will report to the Manager, Data Analytics and Automation.

**What You Will Do**
- Design and build replication jobs (SAP ECC to AWS S3); Create unit test documentation.
- Review configuration of endpoints and execute simple data replication job.
- Assist in the building of instructions for deployment (of jobs and configurations) to test/prod.
- Validate operability of assigned data replication jobs across all environments (dev/test/prod).
- Support replication issues within the established SLAs

**What You Need**
- Good knowledge of DW metadata concepts
- Experience designing multi-dimensional data models using Star and/or Snowflake schemas for analytical use.
- Experience in manipulating data sets, building and handling data warehouse / data lakes and developing ETL pipelines (Snowflake preferred)
- Strong SQL Skills including writing complex queries, query optimization, error and event handling, and stored procedures.
- Experience with any modern ETL tools (Matillion preferred)
- Experience with any data replication tools like Qlik Replicate / Attunity (preferred)
- Experience with creation of visualization using any BI tools (Qlik Sense preferred)
- Files Processing XML, CSV, Excel, Jason, etc. formats.
- Interaction with REST APIs, Web Services.
- Structured and Non-Structured Data processing Data ETL Capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills - strong problem-solving skills, communicates in a clear and succinct manner and optimally evaluates information / data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve them.
- Preferred Programming experience in R, Python.
- Previous experience in dealing with migration of high-volume databases from traditional database platforms to modern columnar (MPP) platforms (preferred).
- Strong oral & written communication skills with an ability to express technical concepts in business terms and business needs in technical specifications
- Experience in working with AGILE model (preferred)

**What is Nice to Have**
- At least 4 years of experience with Attunity Replicate
- Experience on version 7.x
- Experience with SAP ECC source tables (SD, MM, FI, CO, master data) & BW extractors
- Worked on Analytical platforms like Snowflake, Hadoop, Big Query, Redshift
