- Assisting the doctors in patient examination and other general duties.
- Guiding the patients to the medical officer in correct time for examination.
- Helping the doctors and patients during the preliminary and last Medical examinations.
- Communicating the patients about the disease and the purpose of the treatment.
- Explaining the patients about the disease after doctor examination and directing them to the specific treatment they require.
- Arranging the sterilized instruments and equipment in units.
- Placing all the instruments and equipment needed for the patient examination at the doctor’s table.
- Attending camps according to the work schedule.
- Attending training sessions in up gradation of their knowledge of latest medical developments.
- Resolving problems arising in the department.
- Coordination with other departments for the good flow of works.

Coordinating with Medical Records department for OP statistics, follow up and other medical records related queries.
