**Company Profile**:
Founded in 2009, our client is a global fintech company. They provide online mobile payment services, offering a payment interface that directly charges payments made to participating retailers to a customer mobile phone number. Their clients include leading digital companies, social networks and major e-commerce retailers.

The Company has developed an accessible technology platform which is an interface for consumers, and links the phone carrier (Vodafone, Deutsche Telekom, EE etc.) together with global merchants (Google, Apple, Spotify, etc.) allowing these merchants to accept payments from anyone with a mobile phone.

Our client is headquartered in San Francisco and London, with offices in Mumbai, Munich and sales offices throughout the world, comprising c150 employees in total. Since November 2017, our client is listed at the London AIM.

**Position Title: SDET-Product QA**

**Location**:Andheri, Mumbai

**Qualifications**:BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in related disciplines.

**Experience Required**: 5-9 Years

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform black box systems-level testing on transactional APIs for a payment gateway system having hundreds of different configurations, workflows, and customizations.
- Develop automated scripts for use in continuous delivery pipelines, sanity, and regression tests.
- Generate tests and test ideas using a heuristic, context-driven approach.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other testers to identify coverage areas and design tests.
- Write and execute test charters for testing Sprints and exploratory testing sessions.
- Write and maintain test procedures and documentation.
- Create product coverage outlines which map out product features and capabilities.
- Write clear and concise bug reports.
- Communicate test results and findings through verbal, written, and/or visual reporting.
- Be a mentor and guide for other software testers, stepping in to assist where needed. Participate in peer reviews, give positive and negative feedback to fellow testers to help them grow and be better at testing.
- Work with the Team Lead to devise and implement strategic initiatives in testing.

**Qualifications**:

- Over 3 years of UI and API test automation and Devops experience.
- Proven experience leading medium to big projects.
- Experience in training and mentoring other software testers and providing direction
- Experience working in a distributed team setting
- Ability to create tests or test ideas from lightly-defined requirements or short task/story descriptions.
- Ability to test APIs with complex workflows, as well as web-based user interfaces with multiple fields and input choices, and workflow scenarios.
- Ability to write or contribute to test code/scripts, preferably in JavaScript, Java, Groovy, Python
- Experience with automated testing tools, such as Selenium web driver, web driver IO, SoapUI, Rest assured, Jmeter, Postman
- Ability to navigate and use basic functions of UNIX or Linux command-line systems.
- Ability to write queries to retrieve data from relational databases.
- Ability to solve problems and drive issues through to resolution.
