Job Description

Software Development Engineer in Test works closely with end users, developers, and other stake holders in an agile environment. In addition to defining, documenting, coding, and executing the testing of internally used .NET based web applications, they will be involved in sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, development, and product deployment.

Years of Experience

• 4+ years of experience in creation and execution of test plans/case
• 3 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation development
• 3 years of experience with Programming Languages C# and Powershell

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related engineering field required. Advanced degree preferred.

Special Requirements

• Good to have prior experience of working in Finance domain (Investment bank, Asset Management firm, Hedge Fund).

Required Skills

• Must have a strong understanding of QA processes and concepts, including test case preparation, test automation, and testing methodologies
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery required
• Experience with source control models and processes required
• Experience on SQL, Test automation (Selenium/Playwright)
• Good to have - Mongo DB, Financial domain knowledge, financial platforms, tools & protocols (BBG, FXConnect, FxALL, FIX, SWIFT, etc.)
• Prior experience as QA/SDET on medium to large size application development projects with an emphasis on .NET development tools, Microsoft SQL Server, and responsive Web application technology such as AngularJS, ReactJS, JavaScript, and CSS3
