- **Managing files**: Basic management of electronic files
- **Formatting documents**: Formatting and producing documents
- **Reporting**: Producing and managing reports

Data entry operators should have the following skills and qualities:

- **Typing speed and accuracy**: They should be fast typers without making typos
- **Attention to detail**: They should be detail-oriented and able to perform repetitive tasks accurately
- **Communication skills**: They should have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- **Organizational skills**: They should have excellent organizational and time management skills
- **Independence**: They should be able to work independently

A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required
