Introduction:
As FBP for BX-BUK Consumed Costs & Cost Transformation, the purpose of this role is to support the planning, analytics and reporting of the BUK CEO View (Consumed Costs) and impact of the BUK Cost Transformation programme on the BUK Business cost base. This includes monthly cost reporting, variance analysis, risks & opportunities tracking, KPI and associated saves tracking of BX Transformation Programmes, and analysis of the impact from initiatives embedded in Outlook and MTP processes. The holder of this role will be required to support the production of insightful Management Information (MI) and analytics on the impact of BX Allocated costs and BX Transformation programmes on the BUK cost base.

This role requires an ability to help support the VP in managing key stakeholder relationships within Finance and across the business, providing valuable decision support, monitoring and challenge. The individual will also need to maintain best in class, efficient and robust processes and systems, and look for continuous improvements opportunities within the remit of the role, driving through these improvements to completion.

What will you be doing?

Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Support the preparation of insightful management information to BX and BUK senior management teams on the BUK Consumed Cost and impact of the BX Transformation Programme on the BUK Cost Base.
- Work with the BUK COO BP&A FBPs to understand the BUK-BX Consumed Cost base (CEO view) and allocation impact on BUK.
- Build effective relationships across BX Finance teams to gain insight and understanding of the costs allocated to BUK across all BX Transactions Cyles and Functions, including Tech and CRES
- Support the review and challenge of business inputs to the Cost Transformation programme, ensuring that they are accurate and complete.
- Provide business support using accurate, timely, reliable and highly effective MI / Analytics, both cost and business drivers of cost, to enhance the quality of decision making, using MI tools (such as Tracker)
- Build a strong relationship with the BUK Cost FBPs, as receivers of the BUK Consumed Costs and Cost Transformation programme costs and future benefits.
- Use a proactive and flexible approach with complex ad hoc requests, quickly building an understanding of what is required and producing a high quality output.
- Support the budget process, regular forecasting and accurate reporting of the risks and opportunities.

Strategy & Analytics
- Support the delivery of key strategy-related and financial modelling projects, to produce high quality Management Information (MI) and analytics.
- Understand the commercial drivers of the business, both current and proposed, to support successful growth of the business.

What we’re looking for:

- Professional recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA), or equivalent relevant experience, with strong post qualified experience
- Strong academic background.
- Proven strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Modelling and analytical skills.
- Proven ability of providing Management Information (MI) and analysis from gathering the data through to interpretation and designing effective reports
- Experience of providing high quality financial support to senior stakeholders
