Social Media Marketing Intern

Overview:
As a Social Media Marketing Intern at OneDay, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the exciting world of social media marketing while gaining practical experience and valuable skills in crafting engaging content, managing social media platforms, and analysing performance metrics. This internship is designed to provide hands-on learning and professional development in social media strategy, community management, and content creation, under the guidance of experienced professionals in a creative agency environment.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Assist in the development and execution of social media marketing strategies and campaigns across various platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube, to promote client brands and engage target audiences.

2. Support the creation and scheduling of social media content calendars, including writing copy, sourcing visuals, and coordinating with design teams to produce compelling multimedia assets that align with brand messaging and objectives.

3. Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and opportunities to engage with followers, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner to foster community engagement and build brand loyalty.

4. Conduct research and analysis to identify audience demographics, preferences, and behaviours, providing insights and recommendations to inform content strategies, campaign targeting, and audience segmentation.

5. Assist in managing social media advertising campaigns, including campaign setup, ad copywriting, targeting, budget optimizations, and performance tracking, to drive reach, engagement, and conversions.

6. Collaborate with creative teams to develop visual assets, graphics, and multimedia content for social media campaigns, ensuring visual consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.

7. Monitor and analyse key performance metrics, engagement rates, and social media KPIs using analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights), and prepare reports to assess campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

8. Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices, participating in training sessions, webinars, and workshops to expand your knowledge and skills in social media marketing.

9. Provide administrative support as needed, including organising files, scheduling meetings, and assisting with project coordination and documentation to ensure smooth operations of social media marketing initiatives.

10. Take initiative to propose and implement creative ideas, initiatives, and experiments to enhance social media presence, drive engagement, and achieve campaign objectives.

Qualifications:
1. Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.

2. Strong interest in social media marketing, digital advertising, and online community management, with a desire to learn and grow in the field.

3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and on-brand content for social media platforms.

4. Basic understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices, with familiarity with content management tools and social media analytics.

5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) is a plus.

6. Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.

7. Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude, eager to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the success of social media marketing initiatives.

8. Proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to take initiative, ask questions, and seek out opportunities for learning and development.

9. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and thrive in a dynamic agency setting.

10. Availability to commit to a minimum of 5 hours per day for 3-6 months.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹10,247.39 per month
