**Job Description: Maintenance Personal/Technician**

Join our team as a Maintenance Personal/ Technician, where you'll play a vital role in the company for the completion of scheduled repairs, emergency repairs and preventive maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment throughout the hotel as assigned. You may be asked to provide training to other maintenance staff & maintain appropriate records associated with work performed. As the initial point of contact, your professionalism, customer service skills, and ability to coordinate activities are crucial to our operations.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

**As the Maintenance Personal/Technician, your Typical Duties will Include**:

- Maintain all of the hotel's equipment and work on preventative maintenance plans.
- Take care of guest complaints regarding building maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
- Use a wide range of tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, indicators, edge finders, drills, wrenches, and additional equipment as per requirement.
- Keep an open line of communication with other team members and staff.
- Respond to emergencies that occur outside of regular working hours.
- Planning and carrying out scheduled maintenance.
- Responding to emergencies.
- Diagnosing faults.
- Repairing equipment and testing repairs.
- Supervising contractors, and engineering and technical staff.
- Ordering specialist components, fixtures or fittings.
- Creating maintenance procedures.
- Managing stocks of supplies and equipment.
- Keeping records of faults and repairs.
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
- Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public area in a timely manner.
- Follow schedule for guest rooms maintenance.
- Clean all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing blockages and maintain an organized department and hotel.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Good understanding of the technical features of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of machines and equipment.
- Excellent technical skills and knowledge.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Teamworking skills.
- An ability to work well under pressure.

**Experience**
- Applicants must have 1-2 years of experience in maintenance.
- Hospitality Background Preferred.

**Additional Requirements**

Must be able to work flexible hours and be available on an as-needed basis for events.
