**Role Summary**:

- This role will be in the Business Planning team reporting to the team leader encompassing a whole range of activities including but not limited to the responsibility for the delivery of the required business plan figures to the stakeholders on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.

**Key Focus areas**:

- Maintaining the actuarial model (Prophet Model) with regression testing of the new model releases, identifying the areas of improvement in the existing model and liaising with the modelling team.
- Monthly reporting to the senior management on the actual versus plan deviations.
- Participation in the activities of the Annual Business Plan exercise as well as the Operating Plan including liaising with various stakeholder e.g., finance team, actuarial pricing team etc.
- Participation in the annual regulatory reporting activities including but not limited to preparation of the Appointed Actuary’s Annual Report, and other reports as required.
- Participation in the adhoc projects on a required basis.

**Qualifications & Competencies**:

- 3+ years of experience in the actuarial domain, preferably in Business Planning, Shareholder Reporting or Statutory valuation team in a life insurance company.
- ** 5+ actuarial papers (must have CT5 old curriculum or CM1/CM2 new curriculum)**:

- ** Experience into Life Insurance domain (preference)**:

- Understanding of Prophet, DCS and database management systems e.g., SQL etc.
- Good communication skills, Positive attitude, Willingness to learn and Collaborative mindset.
