Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with designers, project managers and other team members to come up with

creative messaging solutions to meet marketing goals.
- Compose copy for digital assets, targeting a range of consumer vertical markets
- Adhere to the brand tone of voice of our client’s style guide.
- Take character limitations and design constraints into account when creating copy, and

partner with editors to resolve writing or grammar issues.
- Participate in the quality assurance (QA) phases of projects to help ensure all final copy

has been correctly implemented.
- Contribute to writing guidelines by keeping an eye out for inconsistencies and bringing

them to managers’ and editors’ attention.

- Attend and engage in kick-off and follow-up meetings by asking questions, anticipating

information required to create effective copy, and proactively seeking clarity and

resolution.
- Maintain a positive, can-do attitude and foster top-notch working relationships with

Required Skills Experience and Education:

- Demonstrates proficient expertise in Microsoft Word, Google Docs and Adobe Acrobat.
- Proficiency with AP and/or Chicago Manual of Style and standard proofreading marks.
- Executes assignments with high attention to detail ensuring content is aligned with the

brief, brand and style guidelines.
- Operates effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrates organization and effective time management.
- Collaborates and communicates well with team members across multiple disciplines.

Education/Experience Requirements:

- Degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, Advertising, or related field and at least 5 years

of professional copywriting experience.
- 2 years' experience copywriting for ecommerce deliverables.
- 2 years experience working for or with creative agencies.
- 1 year experience developing copy concepts in a retail or marketing environment.
- Ability to work autonomously and self-manage, as well as collaborate closely.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done.
