- **Research and investigation**: Uncover and research newsworthy topics, facts, and story leads.
- **Reporting and writing**: Write clear, concise, and compelling news stories, articles, and features for print, digital, or broadcast media.
- **Interviews**: Find and interview sources, witnesses, and key individuals to gather information and perspectives.
- **Fact-checking and verification**: Ensure all information, facts, and data are accurate and reliable before publication.
- **Editing**: Review and edit copy to ensure it meets high journalistic standards, is free of errors, and adheres to ethical guidelines.
- **Collaboration**: Work with editors, photographers, designers, and other journalists to produce content.
- **Event coverage**: Attend press conferences, events, and other assignments to gather first-hand information.
- **Deadline management**: Meet all assigned and recurring deadlines for story submission.
- **Ethics and standards**: Uphold professional journalistic ethics and codes of conduct.
- **Multimedia skills**: May include taking photos, recording video, or creating other multimedia content to supplement stories.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: Typically a bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English, or a related field.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in fact-checking and verifying information.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong news judgment and an eye for detail.
- Organizational and multitasking skills.
- Networking and interviewing skills.
- **Experience**: Experience in writing and editing news stories is often required.
- **Portfolio**: A portfolio of published work is often preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
