**Position - Team Member - Mould Design**

**Education Qualification: -** BE, DME, CIPET, NTTF,

**Experience: - 5** to **8** Years’ experience in Plastic Mould Industry with Familiar Sold works, unigraphic, Auto CAD Software.

**Mould Designer responsible.**
- preparing feasibilities study of the plastic parts.
- Addressing Engineering changes from customers, its feasibility check, implementation and validation
- preparing concept 3D Mould Design, 2D Mould Design, detailed BOM, Electrode design
- preparing **Assembly models** and details 2D drawings
- preparing as per the customer time plan
- prepare all necessary IATF documentation
- understanding and implementing Customer Design Standards if required
- carrying out continuous improvement in the quality and speed of Mould Design
- Mould cost estimation
- must be a leader and team player
- must be a good communicator with pleasant nature to deal with OEM representatives.
- must have sound knowledge of **Power Shape ** Sold works, UG Mould Design principals
- must be familiar with the Concurrent Mould designing practice.
- must be familiar with the properties of engineering plastics for automotive products for cabin parts including passenger safety parts and lighting parts.
- must have basic knowledge of Injection Moulding Process.
- must have basic knowledge of machining economics.
- must be familiar with Mold Assembly process and technique.
- must be conversant with various mould functions of modern day Automotive Moulds.

**Location: Irungattukottai, Sriperumbudur.**
