**Position - Java Architect**

**Location - **Pune/Hyderabad/Gurgaon - Remote**

**Experience - 9+**

**Shift Timing - 2 PM to 11 PM IST**

We are seeking a seasoned Java Architect with a strong focus on designing and implementing Java REST services and distributed systems. In this role, you will lead the architectural direction of our projects, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior developers, fostering their growth while proactively identifying and solving complex problems. Your ability to communicate effectively will be crucial in collaborating with cross-functional teams and aligning project goals. Additionally, experience with AWS is good to have for leveraging cloud technologies to enhance our solutions. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to innovative software development.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop, and implement robust Java REST services and distributed systems.
- Architect scalable microservices and ensure effective service communication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and design specifications.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
- Proactively identify challenges and devise effective solutions independently.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
- Develop and maintain architectural documentation and design patterns.
- Establish best practices for API design, including versioning, security, and performance.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment processes.

**Must-Have Qualifications**:

- 9 to 11 years of hands-on experience in Java development, particularly with RESTful services.
- Strong experience with distributed systems architecture and design, including service-oriented architecture (SOA) and microservices.
- Deep understanding of Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.
- Proven ability to mentor junior team members and share knowledge effectively.
- Demonstrated proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) and cloud architecture principles.

**Good-to-Have Qualifications**:

- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of database technologies (both SQL and NoSQL, such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., ELK stack, Prometheus).
