**Job Title**: Legal Advisor

**Location**: Pune, India

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, and employment law.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures.
- Represent the company in legal matters, including litigation, arbitration, and negotiations.
- Liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.
- Keep the management team informed of legal trends and changes that could impact the business.
- Conduct legal research and provide timely updates on relevant legal developments.
- Handle intellectual property matters, including trademarks and copyrights.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university; an advanced degree (LLM) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Advisor or in a similar role within a corporate environment.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical, research, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High ethical standards and integrity.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience in handling legal issues in the education sector.
- Familiarity with intellectual property rights and litigation.
