Ramboll’s Energy Transition (RET) division is one of several business units within the Ramboll Group which is a leading Scandinavian engineering consultancy company. The RET division employs 1800+ full time staff at several international locations. The 3D CAD Team is part of RET’s Operational Excellence (OPEX) organisation and includes Digital Innovation and Digital Delivery services.

Our AVEVA E3D support team presently has a vacancy for a full-time E3D Administrator in India. Our new colleague will work out of our Chennai office which is the daily workplace for our India based support team and forms part of our wider 3D CAD support organisation that services projects throughout the Ramboll group and helps consolidate Ramboll’s position as a leading engineering consultancy.

**Department - 3D CAD SYSTEMS**

In 1992 Ramboll Energy successfully implemented its first 3D E&A design system. Today, 3D E&A tools are integral to all Ramboll’s projects.

The 3D CAD team comprises 6 multicultural full-time staff at 3 international locations. It combines the skills of highly experienced CAD administrators, software developers and IT technicians. Their combined knowledge and experience enables Ramboll to continue to operate and develop a multitude of 3D E&A design solutions while meeting ever more challenging project requirements.

We are looking to invite an experienced, energetic AVEVA professional to join our relaxed and informal working environment where team members work closely with one another to provide support for all our 3D systems including AVEVA PDMS and E3D. Our 3D CAD team members need to routinely adapt to the variety of local and international project configurations and E&A software combinations so a broad scope of experience will be highly valued.

**Key responsibilities, tasks & important relations**

Your primary role will be to operate and maintain our Aveva E3D environment. You will be expected to manage, execute and develop administrative tasks for multiple engineering design projects:
Mandatory Skills:

- Help support and develop the Ramboll Design Environment (RDE)
- PDMS/E3D Project Set up, database administration.
- DICE Checking, Reconfiguration Techniques.
- Environment variable settings & ALS (AVEVA Licensing System) configuration.
- Thorough working knowledge of the CATS & Specs database, Dictionary database & Property database including development of CATS & Specs for all disciplines.
- SLH (Stairs, Ladders and Handrails) customisation as per Project requirement.
- Isometric customization as per the requirements (including Border file, Symbols, attributes,etc.,).
- E3D Draw customisation (Sheet library, Styles, Rules, Symbol library, Isodraft Symbol Library, Labels customisation, Auto tagging, Auto dimensioning and automatic drawing production techniques).
- Report configuration & customisation according to Project requirements.
- E3D Support/MDS configuration, New Support development and drawing customisation.

Additional desirable Skills.
- AVEVA Global Set up (HUB & Satellite).
- PML Programming expertise.
- E3D Support/MDS Customisation.
- AVEVA Unified Engineering Database data integration. (Compare and update)
- AVEVA LMI Setup.
- AVEVA DIAGRAMS/AVEVA P&ID

**Qualifications & Experience**
- At least 5 years’ experience working with PDMS/E3D development within the offshore or onshore energy industry
- In-depth, hands-on experience programming in PML.
- Fluent verbally, written and reading English. Must be clearly spoken.
- Experienced providing structured CAD services and support.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions would be advantageous but not required.
