**The Role**:
Job Purpose:
Provide support to Shell’s OUs by operating and maintaining Aveva Electrical & Instrumentatation services environment. You will be expected to execute the tasks for multiple AVEVA E&I projects:
Business Dimensions:
The role is expected to help Team Lead maintain as Aveva E&I Admin activities
Principal Accountabilities:
- Should have extensive experience as AVEVA E&I Admin
- Should have basic knowledge about both electrical and instrumentation discipline documents and drawings sets. (Cable schedules, Instrument Index, Cable Block Diagram, Loop diagram, Hook-up drawings, Termination drawings etc.)
- Should have created load lists, SLDs, data sheets, block diagrams, wiring drawings, termination drawings, cable schedule and BoM using Aveva tool
- Expertise in AutoCAD & it’s interface with AVEVA E&I Admin
- Should have knowledge of Datasheet configuration and attribute mapping.
- Coordination and follow-up of electrical design and engineering interfaces with other disciplines.
- Should have experience, understanding of the conceptual model, Class associations, Tag Management System etc.
- Should be involved in Drawing configurations
- Should have experience / understanding about AVEVA integration with ETAP.
- Responsible for preparing good quality deliverables when exported to other formats. Like PDF and AutoCAD files.
- EPC / Engineering experience in Electrical / Instrumentation Department
- Expertise in MS Office tools
- Should involve in data integration between AVEVA Products (AVEVA Unified Engineering, AVEVA Electrical & Instrumentation, Diagram, E3D, etc.) and third-party products.
- Should be involved in General settings, for both electrical and instrumentation. Library configuration for, Connection Point Labels, Default Terminal points, Cable Gland Adapters, Cable Lugs, Cable Plugs & Sockets, Cable Transit Parts, IO Types, Terminal Arrangements.
Key Challenges:
- Shift work following operating hours of the operation units across the globe.
- Virtual working with key stakeholders for day to day operations
- Effective initiative to identify and help resolve business and technical issues within areas of responsibility.
- A self-starter and reliable deliverer, with good verbal and written skills in English.
- Exposes the individual to all cultural backgrounds and organizational levels across the globe, across diverse time zones.
- The role primarily involves the remote support to the Shell operating units/sites in the drawing management & updates
Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Education/Experience:
At least 5 to 8 years’ experience working with AVEVA E&I Admin & Engineering development within the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry.:
- Fluent verbally, written and reading English. Must be very clearly spoken.
- Highly preferred work experience in Oil and Gas/Power and other related industries.

- Excellent communication skills and a quick learner. Be a good team player. Ability to prioritize and ensure delivery of priorities for the area of responsibility. Flexible and adaptable to change, with a track record of demonstrating initiative, analytical capabilities and problem-solving.
- Excellent stakeholder management with business interface exposure
- Strong interpersonal leadership skills are critical due to the requirement for effective communication of complex issues across multiple offices and teams.
