**We are looking for a R&D Scientist (1 FTE) for a Medical Devices (IVD) Manufacturing Industry.**

**Job description**:

- Maintain broad knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories on paper-based-diagnostics.
- Contribute to new concepts and ideas and extend intellectual understanding.
- Read and understand new strategies for Assay Development for biomolecules.
- Assay Development (major role in NT-proBNP and K+)
- Lead the development of individual assays from individual feasibility studies using Aina platform with successful verification studies and clinical validation.
- Target important assay specifications to achieve improvements on assay performance (Improve stability of reagents and carry out the specific interference studies)
- Document technical assay development processes and prepare presentations for reviews and updates.

**Job Specifications**:

- 5+ years industrial experience in the areas of biotechnology/engineering in an ISO 13485 certified company with an expertise in developing diagnostic assays.
- Strong prior background in protein biochemistry including immunoassays. Sound knowledge in statistics and data analytics
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to organize meetings and present data to superiors and company management lead.

**Analytical and Problem Solving Skills Additional**:Knowledge of higher level programming languages, such as R and Python.

**Qualification required**: Minimum Master’s degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology

**Experience required**:Minimum 5 years in IVD

**Salary**: Up to ₹1,200,000.00 per year
