A gearbox fitter assembles, installs, and repairs mechanical systems, such as gearboxes. They use tools and machinery to construct, replace, and fit parts, and they ensure that health and safety standards are met. Responsibilities
- **Review specifications**: Use drawings and plans to determine the materials and equipment needed
- **Construct parts**: Use welding equipment to assemble parts into functional equipment
- **Test equipment**: Run tests to ensure that the equipment performs as expected
- **Identify malfunctions**: Diagnose problems and replace or adjust components as needed
- **Maintain equipment**: Develop maintenance routines and procedures for each machine
- **Inspect structures**: Ensure that structures comply with local codes and regulations
- **Ensure quality**: Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy and precision
- **Troubleshoot**: Identify and resolve issues related to fitting and installation

**Skills**:

- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Ability to use welding equipment
- Ability to use Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines
- Ability to drill, machine, and mill
- Ability to configure and fine-tune metalworking machinery

Fitters work in many industries, including automotive, HVAC, and the gearbox industry.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
