Medical Billing and Collections Coordinator

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process healthcare claims accurately and efficiently in compliance with payer guidelines and regulations.
- Review patient accounts to ensure proper billing and coding procedures are followed.
- Investigate and resolve claim denials, rejections, and discrepancies.
- **Communicate effectively with insurance companies**, and healthcare providers to resolve billing issues and inquiries.
- Perform insurance verification and eligibility checks for patients.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid claims and overdue balances.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including billing, coding, and finance, to streamline revenue cycle processes and improve efficiency.
- Stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations, coding guidelines, and payer policies.
- Generate reports and analyze data related to revenue cycle performance metrics.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare billing, claims processing, and collections.
- Strong knowledge of medical billing and coding principles, including CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
- Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement methodologies, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
- Proficiency in using healthcare billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- **Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.**:

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Night shift
- US shift
