**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Manages and administers the physical and technical aspects of database systems, including base definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines and protection.
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, installation and maintenance of the database system, installation of upgrades and patches, performance and capacity monitoring/management, and security compliance.
- Proposes and implements enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
- Potential interaction with clients (internal or external) in order to understand and meet requirements for the delivery of services related to database products.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- 6+ years professional knowledge with any one or more products like Secure Transport, Transfer CFT, Interchange, Sterling Integrator, IBM Connect Direct etc.
- General Infrastructure knowledge of high availability, Disaster recovery, and general data centre concepts.
- Sound understanding of PGP encryption, SSH Keys, SSL Certificates.
- Working knowledge on ORACLE DBA/MB Systems, architecture and Siebel internal Integrations.

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
- Constructs an effective team structure that allows individuals and teams to succeed.
- Interest and ability to influence all areas of software development.

**Required Education**

Bachelor's Degree
