**Job Description: CFD Design Engineer (Mechanical)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with **mechanical engineers** to integrate CFD simulations into the overall design and optimization of **chemical dosing systems**, **mixing tanks**, **reactors**, and other mechanical systems.
- Set up and perform **CFD simulations** to model **multiphase flow**, **chemical mixing**, and **species transport** using **SolidWorks Flow Simulation**, **ANSYS Fluent**, and **SimFlow**.
- Develop and modify 3D geometries and meshes, ensuring that simulations accurately represent fluid dynamics and physical processes.
- Analyse flow patterns, velocity fields, turbulence characteristics, and species concentration distributions, and communicate key insights to both mechanical and process engineering teams.
- Assist mechanical engineers with interpreting CFD results to improve system designs for better mixing efficiency, accurate dosing, and enhanced performance.
- Work collaboratively to validate simulation results against experimental data or theoretical models and make design recommendations.
- Automate and optimize simulation processes, including setting up parametric studies and sensitivity analyses to assist in design iterations.
- Prepare clear, detailed reports with visualizations to present findings to internal stakeholders, including technical teams and management.

**Required skills and qualities**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (both spoken and written) is a pre-requisite and a must.
- Proficiency with **SolidWorks Flow Simulation**, **ANSYS Fluent**, and **SimFlow**.
- Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, turbulence modelling, and species transport.
- Familiarity with CAD software (such as SolidWorks) for geometry creation and meshing.
- Ability to work effectively in a **team environment**, collaborating with **mechanical engineers** to solve real-world design challenges.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical reporting skills.
- Should be well versant with 3D & 2D CAD software’
- Basic scripting or automation skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB) to improve CFD workflows.
- Exposure to **validation techniques** for CFD and **experimental data comparison**.
- Focus of timelines with quality and detailing. Expertise in time management and the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong collaborative and interpersonal ability. Good analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong leadership abilities.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and plans
- Good math and computer skills
- Keen attention to minute/small details

**Preferred qualifications, Education and experience**:

- Diploma / Certificate / Degree in Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Structural Engineering
- Schooling / Education should be in English medium
- 1-2 years of experience with **CFD simulations** focusing on **fluid mixing**, **multiphase flow**, or **chemical dosing systems**.
- Ability to self-manage & work independently.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
