What you’ll do at Ather:

- Plan equipment, material and manpower requirements to meet production schedule.
- Plan, schedule and monitor material movement in the production cycle to ensure continuous operations.
- Effectively organizes resources and activities to deal with short-term concerns in manufacturing.
- Plans and Schedule shifts according to production needs.
- Releasing/Closing POs/ WOs, as per production forecast.
- Plan production control activities to improve uptime while maintaining high quality, timely delivery cost-effectiveness.
- Work with the SCM department in material planning and analysis to reduce inventory level.
- Perform inventory management.
- Monitor inventory levels of FG and Raw material and make adjustments to reduce slow moving and obsolete inventory.
- Work in close coordination with SCM, Finance & warehouse to ensure material uptime for production.
- Collating forecasts and proposing an optimal procurement plan for the month.
- Work with QA and Production departments for material reconciliation.
- Plans, implements ECRs and participates in Audits.
- Uses analysis of historical data and current trends to make meaningful projections and forecasts.
- Preparation of monthly MIS report.
- Design and set up process flow & framework for the manufacturing & delivery planning function.
- Determine mathematical models for setting up period targets and allocation for each point-of-sales (Retail Partner or Self owned) for each SKU.
- Breaking down yearly dispatch projection into actionable - Daily, Weekly, and Monthly targets with all influencing parameters.
- Liasoning between the sales team, relevant business teams and the Logistics teams to ensure dispatches as per plan.
- Key action owner in planning and execution of pre production of new models.
- Drive innovative methodologies via programs to ensure optimum stock turnover/ minimum inventory holding time.
- Materialize the corporate manufacturing strategy with Agile planning and responsive execution.
- Build the capability for data/analytics driven sales panning at the granular level.
- Works with engineers to manage materials for special engineering projects.
- Inventory Control Analyses usage data and stock levels to order parts to satisfy service levels. Monitoring inventory levels per plan.

Here’s what we are looking for:

- Proven experience as production planner
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
- Experience in MRP (Manufacturing and material resource planning)
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
- Good at math and statistics
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Insights of regional festivals/cyclical demand to design the volume plan
- Understanding of Vendor and Dealer (RP) working style
- Ability to handle large number of SKUs (variant/colour) with ease while planning, effective inventory management
- Experience of showcasing the data points effectively to CXOs
- Knowledge of demand planning and forecasting tools
- Ability to manage stakeholders - Engineering, Quality, Sales, Program, Manufacturing

You bring to Ather:

- A total functional experience of 4-7 yrs
- TPM or Lean Manufacturing Experience is strongly preferred.
- Effective Communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Any degree (MBA preferred) with experience in planning across any domains (FMCG, Automobile, spares) is a requirement with a recent background in manufacturing planning.
