**Job Overview**:

- Basic knowledge about US Mortgage and default servicing process preferably Judicial Foreclosure along with good understanding of Mortgage documents such as Compliance, Notice of Sale, Deed of Trust, Assignment, Title document, Lis Pendens, Judgement
- Service mortgage accounts to ensure all Default activities are processed in compliance with all state and federal laws while maintaining compliance with Investor, Insurer, Agency, and company guidelines
- Conduct a complete review of files to ensure all default timeframes have been met to include underwriting, if applicable.
- Generate reports on default loan statuses, settlements, and recovery efforts.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies in all default servicing activities.

**Job Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Track borrower bankruptcy filings and update account statuses.
- Assist in preparing necessary documentation for legal proceedings related to default loans.
- Ensure all system records are accurately updated to reflect the latest status of default accounts.
- Maintain proper documentation for all account actions and communications.
- Generate reports on default loan statuses, settlements, and recovery efforts.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies in all default servicing activities
- Work together and with defaulted borrowers, investors and insurers to avoid the completion of foreclosure and to mitigate loss to all, in accordance with all federal, state and local regulations, investor/insurer policies and procedures.
- Key responsibilities include reviewing decision letters, and closing agreements for accuracy and compliance, as well as reporting milestones to investors via online platforms.
- Order, review and maintain loan documents to include signing of documents needed to proceed within the default processes
- Manage default proceedings on assigned cases by interacting and instructing various parties such as mortgagors, attorneys, investors, insurers, trustees, appraisers and any other party involved with default

- Educational qualification and years of experience required in any specific domain/skill for the role_
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Default Servicing.
- Expertise in reviewing mortgage related documents and well verse with the state requirements and calculations.
- Has complete attention to details
- Ability to act quickly, think critically and work well as part of a growing team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible to work in night shifts
