**About Us**

We're seeking a skilled, independently functioning Network Administrator to join our dynamic team in Lonavala. This role will involve proactive management of an extensive field network and data centre infrastructure with mínimal supervision.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Field Network**:

- Independently configure, install, and maintain network equipment across a 100km+ deployment area.
- Lead and execute infrastructure implementation projects involving Fortinet firewall also manageable switches, Belden switches and Fortinet firewall
- Ensure efficient cabling, passive component management, and maintain network health for field operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in the field to minimize downtime.
- Manage L2 and L3 switches to ensure optimal network performance and scalability.
- Implement and manage VPN tunnels for secure remote access and site-to-site connectivity.

**Data Centre Operations**:

- Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure components (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN concentrators) independently.
- Optimize network configurations for integration with other systems.
- Monitor network performance metrics, perform capacity planning, and troubleshoot to ensure seamless data centre operation.
- Implement and manage SNMP protocols for network device monitoring and management.

**Security & Collaboration**:

- Implement and enforce robust network security policies across both field and data centre environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network solutions with business objectives.

**Network Evolution**:

- Independently execute network upgrades, enhancements, and migrations to keep infrastructure current in both field and data centre environments.
- Develop and maintain thorough network documentation to support clear communication and future reference.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- At least 7 years of combined experience in network administration, with a minimum of 5 years in an individual contributor role.
- Proven expertise in implementing and managing Belden switches and Fortinet firewalls in complex network environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage 100km OFC and core networks independently.
- Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, RSTMP).
- Extensive experience with network hardware, field deployments, and data centre equipment.
- Strong understanding of network security best practices.
- Proficiency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA) preferred.
- Experience in Smart City and ITMS projects is a plus.
