**Job Title**: Server Administrator (Independent Contributor)

We are seeking a skilled Server Administrator to join our team in Lonavala. This role requires hands-on expertise in managing and securing data centre infrastructure, with a focus on large video file storage, backup systems, and critical security compliance.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Server Management**: Install, configure, and maintain Dell servers, CCTV hardware. Independently manage storage solutions for large video files, ensuring the stability and efficiency of the data centre infrastructure.
- **Data Centre Operations**: Oversee both physical and virtual data centre environments, including networking devices like switches, cables, and firewalls, to optimize resource utilization and infrastructure efficiency.
- **Backup and Disaster Recovery**: Implement and manage robust backup systems and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical systems and ensure business continuity, especially for large video files.
- **Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT)**: Ensure prompt closures of VAPT reports and implement security recommendations to maintain the safety and integrity of data infrastructure.
- **Windows Security Server Updates**: Regularly monitor and update Windows Security Servers, addressing critical Red-level issues to maintain compliance and system security.
- **Database and Server Management**: Manage SQL/WAN servers, database clustering, API integrations, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL servers. Work with Linux-based systems like Ubuntu, CentOS, and RHEL.
- **Monitoring and Troubleshooting**: Proactively identify performance parameters for monitoring and resolve performance issues, especially for large video file storage.
- **Documentation and Notifications**: Maintain comprehensive documentation of server configurations, data centre processes, and video file management procedures. Manage alerts and notifications for prompt response to critical issues.
- **Virtualization and Automation**: Handle virtualization and clustering technologies, including Hyper-V and PowerShell scripting for process automation and increased efficiency.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**: B. Tech/BCA/MCA/B.E. in a relevant field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 7 years in Server Administration in a data centre environment, with expertise in large video file storage and management.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in Dell server hardware, clustering, backup tools, and network security protocols.
- Experience with SQL/WAN servers, MySQL, Microsoft SQL, Hyper-V, and Linux (PowerShell, Ubuntu, CentOS).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- **Cybersecurity**: Expertise in server security practices, VAPT report management, and Windows Security Server updates.
- **Communication**: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Additional Skills (preferred)**:

- Experience in Smart City and Intelligent Traffic Management Systems (ITMS) projects.
