Director, PMO Partner Processing & Migrations

OVERVIEW:
The Mastercard Processing team is responsible for defining the strategy and executing the delivery of, Processing products & Value-Added-Services serving traditional and non-traditional Issuers/customers including but not limited to Banks, Telcos, Retailers, Fintechs and Microfinance companies. As way forward for Processing, we are a) brining new processing platform for mastercard to the region as well as b) partnering with selected third-party processors to support our processing customers.

The Director, PMO will be responsible for leading the migration projects within the Processing. This individual will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects, ensuring consistency with Processing strategy, commitments, and goals.

ROLE
- ACCOUNTABLE FOR OVERALL PMO FOR REGION AND MANAGE MIGRATION PROGRAM AS A WHOLE (TRACKING PROJECTS WITH MULTIPLE PARTENRS)
- OWN, UNDERSTAND AND MANAGE SCOPE OF EACH CLIENT MIGRATION PROJECT
- LIASE WITH PROCESSOR, CLIENT AND MA PROJECT TEAMS TO FACILITATE MIGRATION ACTIVITIES
- RAISE RISKS AND ESCALATE TO EEEMEA LEADERSHIP ON PROJECT DELAYS AND/OR CLIENT ESCALATIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of stakeholders
- Lead and manage a team of project managers and coordinators to ensure successful delivery of projects
- Ensure all projects are properly planned, executed, monitored, controlled and closed
- Monitor project progress and take corrective action as necessary to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all project goals are met
- Develop and maintain project management plans, including project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders and senior management
- Identify and mitigate project risks

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in business, project management or a related fiel
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong experience in the payments domain
- Proven track record of leading successful migration projects
- Experience with project management methodologies and frameworks, such as Agile and Waterfall
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- PMP or other Project Management certifications preferred
