Job Description: Manifest Executive in Warehouse

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manifest Executive to join our warehouse team.

The Manifest Executive plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient handling of

shipments and manifests. As a key member of our logistics department, the incumbent will

be responsible for overseeing the entire manifesting process, ensuring compliance with

regulatory requirements, and maintaining precise records of all shipments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manifest Generation: Generate accurate and complete manifests for all outgoing

shipments, ensuring that each package is correctly categorized and documented.
- Data Verification: Verify the accuracy and completeness of shipment data, including

product codes, quantities, and destination details, to minimize errors in manifest

creation.
- Coordination with Operations: Collaborate closely with warehouse operations staff to

streamline the shipping process, resolving any discrepancies in manifests or

shipment details.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on manifests to identify and rectify

any inconsistencies or errors promptly.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all generated

manifests, both physical and digital, for future reference and audits.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with shipping carriers, internal teams, and

external stakeholders to coordinate manifest-related matters and address any

shipment-related issues.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify potential issues in the manifesting process and

implement solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve manifesting procedures to

optimize workflows and ensure timely dispatch of shipments.
- Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff on proper

manifesting procedures and best practices.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma, +2 or equivalent is required. Additional education or

certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in manifesting or shipping operations within

a warehouse environment is desirable.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and

manifesting software is essential. Experience with MS Excel or other spreadsheet tools for

data analysis is a plus.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy is crucial in ensuring error-free

manifest generation.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with various

stakeholders effectively.

Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple shipments simultaneously,

and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Problem-Solving: Aptitude for identifying and resolving issues related to manifesting and

shipping processes.

Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with warehouse staff and cross

Knowledge: Familiarity with shipping regulations, customs procedures, and international

logistics will be an advantage.
