Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking an innovative and dynamic design professional will be heading design to lead the creative direction. The ideal candidate will have 7-8 years of specialized experience in the athleisure, streetwear, or activewear space, with a strong focus on design and product development, with a proven track record in domestic and international fashion markets. The ideal candidate will have graduated from a top-tier design institution (e.g., NIFT or NID) with a background in Knitwear or Fashion Design.

Experience:

7-8 years of hands-on design experience with a focus on athleisure, streetwear, or activewear, leading the creative process from concept to final product for domestic and international markets.

Demonstrated success in leading design projects and strong understanding of market trends, consumer behaviour and the competitive landscape.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Knitwear or Fashion Design from NIFT or NID.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and CAD.

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership:

Lead the end-to-end design strategy across all fashion categories, ensuring innovative concepts that balance aesthetics and incorporating insights into fit, fabric, and functionality.

Develop trend-forward collections tailored specifically with superior quality, ensuring comfort, style, and performance in aligning with market trends and brand vision.

 Collaboration & Communication:

Guides a team of designers and work closely with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and production to ensure design feasibility to ensure cohesive brand storytelling.

Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders, integrating feedback and refining designs as needed

Trend Analysis & Market Insight:

Stay ahead of global and domestic fashion trends, consumer behaviour, and emerging technologies to innovate and maintain competitive edge.

Implement innovative design techniques and materials to elevate product performance and aesthetics.

Technical Expertise:

Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications for production.

Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure quality control and maintain the integrity of design details.

Brand Stewardship:

Uphold brand identity and ensure consistency across all product lines.

Contribute to strategic discussions on brand evolution and market positioning within the active leisure segment.
