Product Based Leading MNCGrowthAbout Our ClientOne of the world's leading international (Canada based) general insurance company.Job DescriptionKEY ACCOUNTABILITIESLead the design and implementation of the infrastructure required to support the software development lifecycleCreate and maintain automated deployment processes for the applicationsMonitor and maintain the production environment to ensure that it is running smoothlyTroubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely mannerWork with the development team to ensure that new features and updates are deployed to production smoothlyCollaborate with other teams such as security, network, and storage to ensure that the infrastructure is secure and reliableContinuously improve the infrastructure and processes to increase efficiency and reduce downtimeAct as a mentor to junior team members and provide guidance on best practices and technologiesLead the research and evaluation of new technologies and tools to improve the infrastructureParticipate in the hiring process for new team membersProvide regular reports on the performance of the infrastructure and the progress of projects.The Successful ApplicantFUNCTIONAL / TECHNICAL SKILLSSkills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field8 years of experience in a DevOps or related roleStrong knowledge of Linux/Unix administrationStrong knowledge of cloud infrastructure ( Azure)Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible,Terraform, Salt)Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, datadog, splunk)Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD, Azure DevOps)Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash)Experience with scripting languages (Javascript /Nodejs)Strong communication and collaboration skillsStrong problem-solving skillsExperience leading a team and mentoring junior team membersExperience with architecture design of scalable and high availability systems
