Roles and Responsibilities A)JOB PURPOSE The key purpose of the position is to take the control of Legal dept for the concerned SBU and its Location and look after all legal cases , of the area under the control and safeguard Company’s legal interest and would provide the necessary legal support on designated areas. Reporting to State Legal Manager (SLH) B)PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES 1) Exposure on Civil & Criminal Litigation Attending court cases filed by Customers against the company. Sending the notices and filing the police complaints in stressed loan accounts Execution of S. & S9 Orders of Arbitration & Conciliation Act 6. Filing of Execution Petitions of Matured award passed under arbitration and conciliation Act,6. Execution of BW/ NBW issued in Act cases Filing of S. Application under SARFAESI Act, and its Execution. Extending support to collections dept for recovery in Stressed Loan Account. Reviewing and responding to the legal notices served upon the company by collecting the requisite information and inputs from the concerned stake holders. Engaging and coordinating with legal counsels and internal stakeholders for handling the litigations including any filing and defend the cases thereunder till disposal and further actions. Conducting Lok Adalat and conciliation Camps. 2) Police & Administration Should have experience in dealing and Liaison with Police and other enforcement authorities. 3) Close interaction with Recovery Team Experience in closely interacting with recovery team and in supporting recovery efforts. Creating and providing various legal tools to Collections support for Executing legal tools and Joint Customer visit in Critical and High ODPOS cases C) NEED TO DO Timely closure of all litigation from a legal perspective. Provide in - house legal support required by functions in external dealings. Defend Company and its executives against any legal exposure. Represent Company before Courts and other statutory authorities. Provide legal opinion on business issues.
