The Role

Be a constructive team member for a global control system engineering team working for domestic and overseas customer.Preferred to have working experience with Centrifugal Compressors, Screw compressor, Reciprocating compressors, Vacuum system, Turboexpander etc. Study the customer specifications related to Instrumentation & control systems for selection of control systems and field instruments.Detail or working knowledge of various Siemens and Rockwell hardware & PLC/HMI/SCADA Programming in all languages (STL, FBD, Ladder etc) .PLC control system programming experience using IEC Structure Text OOP design and application plus support procedural scripts and legacy solutions [C#, C++, Java, Python, ST].Excellent programming work experience on Codesys Professional IDE SP16 software.Familiarized with version control tool like: Tortoise SVNWorked with OOP (Object Oriented Programming method)Knowledge and experience of handling/configuration of various communication protocols.Create the Instrumentation and control system related drawings and documents like logic diagram, I/O List, Bill of material, PLC related documents like Communication list, Alarm/trip list, signal list, Monitor screen documents and customized documents as per customer requirement etc.BN vibration monitoring system knowledge & programming is an added advantage.Should have independently handled onsite support activities like FAT/SAT/Commissioning for PLC based control System.Preparation of work instructions, check lists, standard procedure etc related to ISO requirement.Good to have working knowledge on design software AutoCad Electrical as well as Ms Office Excel etc. Co-ordination with client / consultants and suppliers for technical discussions, document approval process. Upon requirement, should able to co-ordinate and manage with management trainee to meet customer’s engineering support requirement.Continuously innovate the ideas to improve the Quality aspect of engineering & Programming.

Experience Requirements

BE / B Tech / M Tech. in Electrical Engineering / Computer engineering/ Instrumentation engineering / Electronics/ E & TC with 4 to 6 years of designing, programming and testing/simulation experience on Codesys platform and different PLCs.

Software skill requirement:

Must be proficient in

Codesys Programming using Structure test.Coding using C, C++, Java, Python, STWorking with OPPs and Agile/Scrum methodologyRockwell and Siemens Programming in all programming languages.Good communication skill and learning ability.

Preferred to have good knowledge of

BN Programming softwareAutoCAD ElectricalExcel/ VBA codingBasic Knowledge of Python Coding

Must be confident enough to take on challenges, ready to travel / posting for site support (if needed), and ability to develop team
