Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will be responsible for:

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of contracts, including EPC, PPA, O&M, etc.Advising on contract management and legal matters during project developmentLiaisoning with regulatory bodies such as Electricity Commissions, MNRE, CERC, and relevant government agencies.Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations relevant to the energy and utilities sectorStay abreast of industry trends and developmentsManaging ongoing litigation and disputes in collaboration with external counsel and internal teamsProviding strategic legal advisory on a wide range of issues including risk mitigation, policy, and governance

The Successful Applicant

A degree in law from a recognised institution with a minimum of 5 years of experienceStrong communication and negotiation skillsPrior experience in litigation or dispute resolution in the energy sector would be a great plus
