Job Title: Production SupervisorLocation: CoimbatoreExperience: 1 to 3 Years Salary: Depends upon ExperienceJob Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities, ensure smooth operations, and maintain quality standards. The role involves managing a team of production staff, optimising workflow, monitoring equipment, and implementing process improvements to meet production targets and deadlines.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.Plan, schedule, and allocate tasks to production staff to meet deadlines and productivity targets.Ensure adherence to quality control standards and compliance with company policies and safety regulations.Monitor equipment performance, conduct routine checks, and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.Analyse production data and prepare daily/weekly reports for management review.Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain consistent product quality.Train, mentor, and evaluate production team members to enhance skill levels and overall performance.Ensure proper inventory management of raw materials and finished goods.Coordinate with other departments (Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics) to ensure seamless production flow.Address and resolve production-related issues promptly to avoid delays.Essential Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).3–5 years of experience in a production supervisory role within a manufacturing/industrial environment.Proven knowledge of production planning, workflow management, and quality control procedures.Skills Required:Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Proficiency in MS Office and production management software.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma principles is an added advantage.
