JOB DETAILS One of our clients, a reputed law firm based in Chennai, is looking out for a legal counsel. The position will be involved in the development of new capabilities and value-added services and will require a high level of creativity, personal drive and deep quantitative subject matter expertise and therefore will offer significant growth opportunities. Requirements: 01- Minimum 3 years of contract negotiation experience, preferably with technology / IT MNCs or a reputed law firm. 02- Past experience in working in a cross- cultural environment will be an added advantage. 03- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree (preferably a law degree) from reputable and recognized university. 04- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in English language. 05- Clear understanding of basic legal concepts and strong desire to learn/ adapt new skills. 06- Collaborative approach, self- starter attitude and high integrity with demonstrated track record of building relationships across teams. 07- The ability to prioritize tasks, work in a fast- paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Responsibilities: 01- Draft, review and negotiate Professional Services Subcontractor Agreement, Master Services Agreement, Statement of Work, Non- Disclosure Agreement, Outsourcing Agreement and other business/ vendor agreements for APAC, USA, EMEA region. 02- Engage in contract negotiations with partner, customer or vendors. 03- Collaborate and provide guidance to various teams on queries relating to business/ vendor agreements (including identify and mitigate legal risks). 04- Coordinate responses from Consulting, Sales, Engineering, Operations, Procurement and other relevant departments to prepare for final agreement.
