Senior Associate – General Corporate | Top-Tier Law Firm

A leading law firm is seeking a Senior Associate (5-7 PQE) for its General Corporate team in Mumbai. This role is ideal for candidates with strong transactional experience who can independently manage deal execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute M&A, private equity, and general corporate transactions from start to finish. Independently conduct due diligence and identify key risk areas. Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including share purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, and investment agreements. Work closely with clients, regulatory authorities, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of deals. Provide strategic legal advice on structuring transactions while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.Key Requirements:
5-7 years of post-qualification experience in a top-tier law firm or reputed corporate law practice. Hands-on experience in transactional work, with a focus on execution rather than advisory. Strong drafting, negotiation, and due diligence skills. Ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.This is an excellent opportunity for a corporate lawyer looking to take ownership of deals and work on high-value transactions.
