About the Role:We are seeking a Senior Associate to join the Direct Tax practice of a Tier 1 law firm in Mumbai. This is an excellent opportunity to gain deep exposure to both domestic and cross-border transactions, tax advisory, and litigation matters while working with a highly reputed team.Key Responsibilities:- Advise clients on complex direct tax issues across industries- Work on domestic as well as international tax transactions and advisory assignments- Support and lead aspects of tax structuring, compliance, and litigation matters- Collaborate closely with partners and team members on client deliverables- Conduct legal and tax research, prepare opinions, and assist in drafting Qualified CA / LLB / LLM- 3-6 years of relevant experience in direct tax (law firm / Big 4 / consulting environment preferred)- Strong technical knowledge of Indian direct tax laws and international tax principles- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentWhat's on Offer:Opportunity to work with a leading tax practice on high-profile transactions and advisory workExposure to both domestic and international assignmentsGrowth and learning alongside experienced professionals in a Tier 1 setup (ref:iimjobs.com)
