JOB DETAILS One of our clients, a reputed FMCG company, is looking for an organized Warehouse Manager to supervise the receipt, dispatching and storage of merchandise for their warehouse located in Chennai. You will oversee picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, security, maintenance, sanitation and administrative functions. You will also train, evaluate and reward staffand ensure the maintenance of company assets. To ensure success, you need to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and perform your duties in a manner that maximizes profits. You should be dedicated, competent and have strong leadership skills. Responsibilities: 01. Overseeing receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. 02. Implementing operational policies and procedures. 03. Implementing and overseeing security operations. 04. Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment. 05. Ensuring safety of staff. 06. Motivating and disciplining staff. 07. Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities. 08. Maintaining awareness and knowledge of condition and location of fleet vehicles. 09. Assisting with deliveries where required. Requirements: 01. At least graduate 02. 5+ years warehouse management experience. 03. Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures. 04. Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls. 05. Proficient computer skills. 06. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. 07. Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills. 08. Strong people skills.
