Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Associate with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience to join our Projects, Banking & Finance practice. The ideal candidate will assist in advising clients on high-value transactions, conducting due diligence, drafting and negotiating agreements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including loan agreements, bond deeds, power purchase agreements, EPC contracts, and shareholder agreements.

2. Conduct legal due diligence on projects to identify risks and provide actionable insights.

3. Advise on regulatory compliance, including FEMA, RBI guidelines, and insolvency laws.

4. Support the preparation and review of financing and security documents, including legal opinions and resolutions.

5. Work on projects across various sectors, including renewable energy, thermal power, infrastructure, and oil & gas.

6. Represent clients in discussions and negotiations with lenders, borrowers, and other stakeholders.

7. Collaborate with senior partners to develop case strategies and maintain client relationships.

Candidate Profile:

- Experience: 2-4 years of PQE, with exposure to banking & finance, projects, or corporate transactions.

- Skills: Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.

- Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory frameworks like FEMA, RBI guidelines, and insolvency laws.

- Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple assignments efficiently.

- Minimum Qualification - LLB
