Candidates with 15+ years of experience to applyCandidates with prior experience in Fintech/ Financial Service/ IT ServicesAbout Our ClientThe hiring company is a large organisation in the financial services industry.Its India's leading business services company providing logistics and technology solutions to banks, financial institutions, organized retail, and e-commerce companies with a presence across Cash Logistics, Managed Services, and Technology Solutions.Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in managing complex contracts within a B2B ecosystem, preferably from an IT services background.Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all legal matters, including contracts, negotiations, and compliance.Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements within the financial services sector.Provide legal counsel to senior management on strategic initiatives and decisions.Draft, review, and negotiate a range of legal documents, including agreements and policiesContracting and General Corporate Advisory (60-65%)Lead and manage end-to-end contracting processes with strong adherence to SLAs.Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements.Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal standards.Litigation (20%)Oversee ongoing litigation matters and coordinate with external counsel.Provide strategic legal advice on dispute resolution and risk mitigation.Corporate Actions (10- 15 %)Support corporate legal initiatives including M&A, restructuring, and governance.The Successful ApplicantA successful VP/SVP Legal should have:A degree in law from a recognised university.Proven expertise in handling legal matters in the financial services or investment banking sector.Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks applicable to the industry.
