About Our Client

Our client is a leading player in the Chemical Industry and have pioneered the manufacturing of oleo-chemicals venturing into the business 60 years back. They produce a wide range of oleochemical products derived from organic material and cater to Home & personal care, Food & Beverages, Agrochemicals, Metal working fluids, lubricants, Oil and gas segments.

Job Description

Reporting to Head of R&D you will be responsible for

Designing and developing new ingredients based on market requirement for home & personal care, food & beverage, metal working fluids, lubricants and oil and gas segments.Research, designing, and executing innovative and well-controlled experiments, with high attention to detail.Driving cross-functional team collaboration (with commercial, manufacturing and quality teams).Identifying and troubleshooting problems in creative ways.Developing SOPs to aid in the production of reagents and starting materials.

The Successful Applicant

A successful R&D - Technical Synthesis should have:

Master's degree in Organic Synthesis, Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Biochemistry, or a related field10+ years of laboratory experience in Oleochemicals, and/or complex/multi-step Organic synthesis. Proven ability for commercial scale product launches/development ably demonstrated by publications or patents
