Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Trichy
Salary Range: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month

Position Overview

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the organization’s end-to-end financial operations, including bookkeeping, compliance, taxation, and reporting. This role demands a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and organizational skills who can ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data while providing valuable insights for business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain day-to-day accounting operations using Tally ERP.

Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, IT returns, PF, and ESI within statutory timelines.

Generate E-Way Bills and manage export/import documentation.

Oversee internal audits, coordinate with statutory auditors, and ensure timely year-end closures.

Prepare comprehensive financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Reports.

Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate reconciliations and compliance.

Support management with cost control, budgeting, and financial forecasting.

Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other regulatory requirements.

Maintain confidentiality of financial data and uphold ethical accounting standards.

Qualifications Required

/ / CA (Preferred)

Combination of or with CA / Pursuing CA (Final/Inter) will be considered.

Minimum 5 years of full-time experience in accounting, audit, or financial management.

Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP, GST Portal, and e-Filing systems.

Skills Required

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (especially Tally ERP).

In-depth understanding of GST, TDS, and financial compliance.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

High level of integrity and attention to detail.
