Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented Factory Manager to oversee the entire production process, ensure optimal utilization of resources, maintain high-quality standards, and achieve production targets. The role involves managing day-to-day factory operations, implementing process improvements, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and control all factory operations to achieve production targets and deadlines.

Develop and implement strategies to optimize productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality standards.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and environmental standards.

Supervise and manage department heads, production staff, and support teams to ensure smooth workflow.

Monitor inventory levels, raw material procurement, and coordinate with supply chain for timely availability.

Prepare and manage production budgets, track operational costs, and maintain financial efficiency.

Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance factory performance.

Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure machinery and equipment are maintained in good condition.

Analyse production data, prepare reports, and present operational performance to senior management.

Handle workforce management including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related field. (Master’s preferred)

8–12 years of progressive experience in manufacturing/production, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, and supply chain management.

Experience in handling large-scale manufacturing units and workforce management.

Skills Required:

Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes, production equipment, and safety protocols.

Proficiency in ERP and factory management software.

Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
