Job Description

Design and implement the technical architecture for SAP S/4 HANA, including system sizing, high availability, and disaster recovery setups.Lead the technical execution of the SAP ECC to SAP S/4 HANA brownfield conversion, focusing on BASIS and infrastructure aspects.Manage the downtime optimization strategies, ensuring minimal impact on critical business operations during migration.Handle data migration using Software Update Manager (SUM) with Database Migration Option (DMO), ensuring smooth migration from legacy systems.Ensure full compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations (, FDA, GxP) while managing system validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) during the transformation.Collaborate with business teams to ensure the smooth integration of SAP with industry-specific systems (MES, LIMS).Oversee the SAP HANA database installation, performance tuning, and post-migration optimization.Utilize SAP HANA Cockpit and SAP Solution Manager for system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance management.Lead the Fiori activation and optimization of user interfaces for enhanced business productivity.Act as a change champion, promoting the technical and operational benefits of SAP S/4 HANA within the organization.

The Successful Applicant

Extensive hands-on experience in SAP BASIS with a proven track record of leading SAP S/4 HANA brownfield conversions.Strong knowledge of SAP infrastructure, SAP HANA database, and the SAP cloud environment.Experience working in highly regulated environments, ideally within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sectors.Expertise in downtime optimization strategies, including near-zero downtime methods.Knowledge of integration points between SAP BASIS, SAP FICO, and other SAP modules.Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.Proven ability to act as a change agent, facilitating technical transformation and adoption across the business community.
