About Our Client

Our client is a European MNC in the manufacturing industry. They are looking to hire a Head Legal with extensive experience in a regional role ideally having handled regions in the EU as a part of their portfolio.

Job Description

Lead and manage all legal activities, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.Develop and implement effective legal strategies to support business objectives.Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.Advise senior management on legal risks and potential implications.Oversee dispute resolution and litigation matters as needed.Ensure the organisation adheres to corporate governance best practices.Monitor and adapt to changes in laws and regulations impacting the chemical industry.Collaborate with external legal counsel when required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head - Legal should have:

A degree in law from a recognised institution.Extensive knowledge of legal practices within the industrial or manufacturing sector ideally with operations across European UnionAt-least 15 years of experience in an in-house set up or mix of law firm and in-house
