You may know us as Niva Bupa in India, but globally Bupa has over 80,000 employees, 50m customers and an ambition to reach 100m customers by 2027.Job DescriptionManage Quality Engineers both internally and from external vendorsDevelop and mature the automation strategy across using best practice and techniquesTake full responsibility for the planning and management of all quality engineering activities within complex IT Programmes, product centric delivery teams, combining effort with IT staff and users and evaluating risk potential based on the results of the testing during all stages of development in line with the approved lifecycles and the Quality Gate process.Deliver project documentation at implementation including Portfolio Strategy, Master Test Strategy, Test Completion Reports in line with the Testing Practice template setMonitor and control the testing effort and records and publish testing metrics required to manage the testing activitiesManage all third party testing personnel from preferred vendorsCreation, review and execution of Test Scripts in approved test toolsTrack, review and conclude defects in approved test tools responsible for sign off of allocated test tasksTest left and Automation across development teamsThe Successful ApplicantCandidate must be well versed in API/Microservice led testing strategyCandidate must have strong integration testing experience demonstrating complex IT systemsCandidate must have strong SQL / Oracle skillsExperience in Automation tools both Open source and Market toolsExposure to source control tools such as Teamcity/GIT/BitbucketExperience of implementing automation into projectsCustomer focused, product centric delivery focusExperience of 5-15 yearsRelevant experience should not be less than 4 yearsMaster on managing all aspects of testing (Integration, system, end to end and regression. Non-Functional testing)Corporate, Industry and Professional Testing and IT Standards (ISTQB / ISEB Foundation - minimum)Testing principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of the testing process and the execution of tests throughout the lifecycle of development projectsTeam leadership of Quality engineersStrong communication, influencing and relationship-building, at all levelsProject (test) planning, estimation and work allocationRole model for Testing PracticeService delivery on time with acceptable qualityQuality Custodian mindsetHigh collaboration mindset and complete E2E delivery understandingMotivation of team memberGood people management skills
