Key Responsibilities:**Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement of salaries.Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements related to payroll in India.Oversee payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.Collaborate with the Human Resources department to manage employee data and benefits integration.Maintain payroll records and generate periodic reports for management review.Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related queries and provide solutions proactively.Implement process improvements to enhance payroll system efficiency.Coordinate with external auditors and consultants to ensure payroll compliance.The Successful Applicant**4. The Successful Candidate:** A successful Payroll Manager should have:A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Proficiency in payroll software and systems.A thorough understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws in India.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.Experience in the FMCG industry or a similar fast-paced environment is preferred.
