Job description



Job Title: E-Commerce Executive epartment: Sales & Marketing / E-commerce
Reporting To: E-Commerce Manager / Marketing Manager
Job Summary:
As an E-Commerce Executive at you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the
online sales platforms to enhance brand visibility, boost online sales, and improve customer satisfaction.
This includes handling product listings, content updates, order coordination, customer queries, and
ensuring smooth operation of e-commerce channels (such as Amazon, Flipkart, Jiomart, BigBasket, and
the company's own website).
Key Responsibilities:
Product Listings:
Create, update, and manage product listings across various e-commerce platforms.
Optimize product titles, descriptions, images, and pricing to increase visibility and sales.
Order Management:
Track daily orders, returns, and deliveries.
Coordinate with the warehouse/logistics team for timely order fulfillment.
Platform Management:
Maintain brand pages on marketplaces (e.g., Amazon Storefront).
Ensure adherence to platform guidelines and manage SLAs.
Customer Service:
Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback on time.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer issues effectively.
Sales & Performance Tracking:
Monitor product performance, analyze data, and suggest improvements.
Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports and competitor analysis.
Promotions & Campaigns:
Plan and execute platform-specific promotions and deals.
Collaborate with marketing teams to run digital ad campaigns for online products.
Stock & Inventory Management:
Regularly update stock availability and forecast demand.
Liaise with procurement and warehouse to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in e-commerce operations (FMCG experience preferred).
Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, and other marketplace portals.
Strong Excel skills and data handling.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and online marketing tools is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with ERP systems or order management tools.
Basic knowledge of Photoshop or Canva for image editing.
Digital marketing exposure (Google Ads, Meta Ads) is advantageous
