Mechanical Fitter Job Opening

Our client, a leading provider of Manpower Recruitment Services, is currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently carrying out mechanical work on machines, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing faults, and ensuring a safe working environment. Responsibilities:

Efficiently perform mechanical work on machines using appropriate tools and machines
Replace or repair damaged parts and components as necessary
Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
Carry out all fitting tasks in the factory and perform general machinery repairs
Ensure availability of spare parts for all machines
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess machinery condition and make repairs
Diagnose faults in machinery and equipment, and determine appropriate repair solutions
Assist in training and mentoring apprentices or junior fitters
Work in accordance with safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Close off job sheets in a timely manner and maintain neat and tidy work areas
Utilize proper tools and welding equipment for efficient job completion
Inspect fabricated components to ensure correct size

Requirements

Requirements:
Trade certificate in Fitting/Machining
3 years of experience as a Fitter in repair and maintenance of a continuous food process industry
Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
Proficiency in fitting and machining, and settings of various machines at the plant
Ability to work independently and possess good communication and teamwork skills
Salary Range: Rs 50,000 to Rs 75,000

Benefits

3 years Contract, if performance good renewed for another 3 years.
In-case contract is renewed, then wages will be increased for a period of another 3 years.
Will be given 1 Round Trip Air Fare (India-Fiji-India) free of cost every 3 years.
Will get free accommodation in Fiji & free travel to work while fooding cost will be borne by the candidate which is approx. Rs 5,000 per month.

Annual Leaves: Sick Leave will be 10 days, Annual Leave will be 10 days per year along with Gazetted Holidays listed by the Govt of Fiji.
